North Carolina Ferret Discussion Lists
There are four regional lists for ferret enthusiasts in NC. They are useful for locating other ferret owners nearby for friendship or help.
- TriFL (Triangle Ferret Lovers) Yahoo! Group
The TriFL Group focuses on the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill area, although certainly anyone from anywhere is welcome to join. Official TriFL club membership, while encouraged, is not required for membership in the mailing list. The list is often used for club communications as well as for general items of interest to area ferret folks. General ferret talk is welcome as well. Please visit TriFL's Yahoo! Charlotte Ferrets was started in April, 2003, and is a forum for ferret owners in or near Charlotte, NC. Its purpose is to exchange veterinary references, helpful hints for new ferret people, and steer people in the right direction who are looking to adopt (or give up) their ferrets. WilFL is an e-mail discussion list for ferret owners in Wilmington, NC, and surrounding areas. The list is not officially connected with TriFL, but we do have a few members in the coastal region of the state, and the list should be a wonderful benefit for area ferret owners. This is a group for those fuzzbutts who have hoomans who live in the Northeast Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, and Northwest North Carolina, specifically near Johnson City, Bristol, Kingsport, and Asheville.
